1. What these terms cover

These terms apply to your use of this site. They are written by the operator and offered to everyone who uses the site on the same footing. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

The operator's name and address are provided to you, without undue delay, on request at the contact address above.

3. There is no account, and there is nothing to pay

This site is free to use. There is no account, no sign-up and no login anywhere on it. There is no price, no subscription, no payment form and no payment widget, so nothing is billed to you and there is nothing for you to cancel or to be refunded.

Because nothing is sold to you here, the parts of a normal service agreement that deal with orders, prices, cancellation and refunds are absent from these terms. They are absent because they do not apply, not because they have been left out.

4. What you type into the calculator

The calculator asks for a date of birth, the calendar that date is written in, a time of birth, the time zone of the place of birth, an optional longitude, and which reading of the traditional rules you want applied. Nothing else is asked for.

Those values are used by the page itself, in your browser. They are not sent to a server belonging to this site, because this site has none. The operator never receives them, and so has nothing of yours to keep, to correct or to delete. How this works in detail is set out in the privacy policy.

You are responsible for the details you type in, including details about another person. Please only enter details you are entitled to use.

5. What the results are, and what they are not

The full notice is on the disclaimer page, and it forms part of these terms. In short: what is shown here is the output of an automated calculation, it describes a tradition rather than a person, it does not predict or determine any future event, it is not medical, legal, financial or psychological advice and is no substitute for those services, and no claim is made that any interpretation is correct, verified or supported by scientific evidence.

Some sentences on this site are written as statements about you. They are not findings about you.

Where you enter the details of another person, what is shown describes a combination of charts under the rules of the tradition. It is not a finding about that person, and it must not be presented to anyone as though it were.

6. Rules for using this site

Please do not:

• present anything from this site as a professional opinion, as a medical or clinical finding, or as a verified fact about a real person;
• use anything from this site to make a decision about another person's health, employment, money or legal position;
• interfere with the site, attempt to gain access to parts of it that are not published, or place a load on it that stops other people from using it;
• copy the written material on this site wholesale for republication elsewhere.

Reading the site, using the calculator, and quoting a short passage with the source named are all fine.

7. Advertising

This site is meant to be paid for by advertising, and by voluntary support from readers.

In this version there is no advertising code on any page of this site, and no advertisement is served anywhere. Before that changes, the privacy policy is rewritten to say which provider is used, what is stored on your device, for what purpose, for how long, and how you can refuse it, and the rewritten page is published first.

8. Material on this site

The written pages, the layout and the design of this site are the operator's work, and are not offered to you for republication.

The traditional system described here is much older than this site, and nothing in these terms is a claim to it. Where a passage on this site is drawn from elsewhere, the source is named on the page itself.

9. Children

This site does not ask anyone for a name, an age, or a way of contacting them, and no account can be created here. Where a law requires a parent's consent before information about a child is handled, there is nothing on this site for that consent to attach to.

10. There is no promise that this site will stay available

This site is offered as it is. It may be changed, interrupted or withdrawn, in whole or in part, and no promise is made that it will be available at any given moment or that it will keep working as it does today.

If the site is to be withdrawn for good, a notice saying so is published on the site before it happens, so far as that is within the operator's control.

11. Responsibility

Nothing in these terms limits the operator's responsibility for intentional wrongdoing or gross negligence, and nothing in them limits any responsibility that the law does not allow to be limited.

Beyond that, and bearing in mind that this site is provided free of charge: the operator is not responsible for a decision you take on the strength of what is shown here, for the consequences of that decision, or for a loss arising from the site being unavailable or from an error in the calculation.

If you rely on the output of this site for something that matters, please check it against a source that is designed for that purpose.

12. Law, and what happens if there is a dispute

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Korea.

That choice does not take away from you any protection given to you by rules of the country you live in that cannot be set aside by agreement. Nothing in these terms restricts where you may bring a claim, or requires you to bring it in a particular country.

If something goes wrong, please write to contact@k-bazi.com first. Most things are quicker to settle that way.

13. Changes to these terms

This page carries a version number and a date. When something described here changes, the new version of this page is published before the change it describes takes effect. If you keep using the site after that, the new version applies to that use.
