The operator's name and address are provided to you, without undue delay, on request at the contact address above. This follows Article 32, paragraph 1 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan.

2. The short version

This site has no server of its own, no database of its own, and no account. What you type into the calculator is used by the page you are looking at and is not sent anywhere. The only personal information that reaches the operator is what you choose to put into an e-mail.

3. What happens to what you type into the calculator

The calculator asks for a date of birth, the calendar that date is written in, a time of birth, the time zone of the place of birth, an optional longitude, and which reading of the traditional rules you want applied. Nothing else is asked for. There is no field for a name, an e-mail address or a telephone number.

Those values:

• are read and used by the page itself, in your browser;
• are not sent to a server belonging to this site, because this site has none;
• are not written into a cookie, into local storage or into session storage;
• are not put into the address of the page, so they cannot be carried into a browser history entry, a bookmark, or a referrer;
• exist only for as long as the page is open, and are gone when you close or reload it.

This means the operator never sees them and cannot produce them, correct them or delete them on request, because the operator never had them.

There is no account, no sign-up and no login anywhere on this site.

4. What this site puts on your device

This version of the site writes nothing to your device. There is no cookie, no local storage entry and no session storage entry.

If that ever changes, this page is rewritten first, and the change is not made until the rewritten page is published.

5. Advertising

This site is meant to be paid for by advertising, and by voluntary support from readers.

In this version there is no advertising code on any page of this site, and no advertisement is served anywhere.

When advertising is turned on, the advertising provider is able to read and write cookies and other identifiers on your device. That can happen for purposes such as detecting invalid traffic, and it can happen whether or not the advertisements are chosen on the basis of your interests. Before any of that begins, this page is rewritten to say which provider is used, what is stored on your device, for what purpose, for how long, and how you can refuse it.

Until this page says otherwise, no advertising provider receives anything at all from this site.

6. If you write to us

If you write to contact@k-bazi.com, the operator receives your e-mail address, whatever you write in the message, and whatever your mail service attaches to it.

• It is used to answer you, and for nothing else.
• It is not given to anyone else.
• It is deleted once it is no longer needed to deal with what you wrote about, and in any case within one year of the last message in the exchange.

This is the only place on this site where personal information reaches the operator.

7. Links that lead away from this site

Some links lead to sites run by other people. A page for supporting the running costs of this site is one of them.

From the moment you follow such a link you are on someone else's site, and their policy applies instead of this one. This site does not embed a payment form or a payment widget. If you support this site through another company's page, the operator does not receive your name, your e-mail address, your card details or your address from that company.

In this version there is no such link on any page of this site.

8. Hosting, and information given to others

These pages are delivered to you by a hosting and content delivery provider, Cloudflare, Inc., of the United States. Your browser connects to that provider's network in order to receive these pages, so the provider receives the technical details of that connection, including the address your browser connects from and the address of the page asked for. This is how the pages reach you at all. It applies to every page on this site, and it cannot be turned off while the site is hosted in this way.

What you type into the calculator is not part of this. It is not sent anywhere at all (section 3), so it is not among the things the provider receives.

Apart from that hosting arrangement, no personal information is given to a third party, and the handling of personal information is not entrusted to anyone else.

9. Children

This site does not ask anyone for a name, an age, or a way of contacting them, and no account can be created here. Where a law requires a parent's consent before information about a child is handled, there is nothing on this site for that consent to attach to.

10. Your rights

You may ask to see the personal information about you that is held, to have it corrected or deleted, and to have the handling of it stopped. These rights are given by Articles 35, 36 and 37 of the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea.

Because the only personal information held is an e-mail you sent, such a request is answered from the same address: contact@k-bazi.com.

11. Keeping it safe

The mailbox used for the contact address is under the operator's own control and is not read by anyone else. Since the calculator holds nothing, the operator keeps no store of readers' data, and no such store can leak. The connection records described in section 8 are held by the hosting provider, not by the operator.

12. Changes to this page

This page carries a version number and a date. When something described here changes, the new version of this page is published before the change it describes takes effect.

13. If you want to complain

In the Republic of Korea, a complaint about the handling of personal information can be made to the Personal Information Protection Commission (pipc.go.kr) or to the Personal Information Infringement Report Centre (privacy.go.kr). In Japan, it can be made to the Personal Information Protection Commission (ppc.go.jp).
